Removal Job in Falmouth Cornwall

In May the lads at Sawyerr Peters were off on a trip to Falmouth in Cornwall for a removal job. The client was relocating to this lovely seaside town and what a lovely day it was when we got there which did help us work up a sweat.

Falmouth is a small town in Cornwall with a population of just over 25,000 and is a port on the River Fal. The port is still a major contributor to the economy of the town with cargo coming and going. There is also a lot of cruise ship activity in the area. Though recently tourism has become more and more the mainstay of the economy and has become a popular holiday destination for the area. The beaches nearby and the history (Pendennis Castle) make it a great draw for visitors.

St Mawes is a small town on the opposite side of the estuary to Falmouth. The town was once a busy fishing hub, but now as what has happened to Falmouth, tourism has taken over. A wee daily ferry runs between the 2 towns as the other option is a 30mile round trip by road.

If you are moving to any of these towns or other parts of Cornwall, please give us a call on 01926 337 735 and we would be more than happy to advise you on your moving options and give you an obligation-free quotation.
